2016 GEM Grad Lab at University of Delaware
Minority STEM undergraduate students get a unique opportunity to expand their horizons with the GEM Grad Lab at University of Delaware.

The second Philadelphia AMP GEM Grad Lab was held by Philadelphia Alliance for Minority Participation and co-hosted by Drexel University, New Jersey Institute of Technology and John Hopkins University at the University of Delaware. The program for minority STEM undergraduate students interested in a graduate education took place over the weekend from October 14 - 15, 2016 and consisted of campus tours of research laboratories, professional development workshops and a graduate school fair. Speakers included current graduate students, university faculty and senior industry executives; they presented their experiences and insight in a high-energy and interactive format, engaging students and encouraging them in their endeavors to pursue a graduate engineering or science education and to be able to be fully funded through sources like the GEM fellowship. The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to equip themselves professionally for the next level.
